Project

Overview

Credentialing programs provide opportunities and access to increasing adults' life-position through successfully applying for higher paid jobs in the crafts, trades, medical, and other, disciplines.

Among the crucial factors for success in credentialing programs are knowing how to learn, knowing sufficient prior knowledge for success, effective communication skills, the ability for critical thinking, and working collaboratively.

This project will examine credentialing programs' learners' and graduates' perspectives on notions of "being ready" and key learning mechanisms for successfully completing the program.
